When betting on horses or greyhounds you can either use the name of the selection or the number on the official race cards we supply.
Win Betting
If you bet “win” your selection must win the race. The bet will be settled at either the returned official price for the race or you can use your option to take a price at the time of placing the bet.
Each Way Betting
When you bet each way you are betting the same amount to win and place ( place = 2nd or 3rd ) e.g. 100 e/w is 100 win 100 place (200 Total Stake). The place part will either be at 1/4 or 1/5 the win odds e.g. 8/1 at 1/4 odds would give you a place price of 2/1. There must be at least 5 runners before an each-way bet is allowed.
Forecast Betting
A forecast bet is predicting the first two in a race in the correct order. If you bet a straight forecast (SFC) the selections must be placed in the order written. A reversed forecast (RFC) gives you the option both ways but it costs two stakes. A combination forecast (CFC) gives you a combination of selections in any order e.g. a 3 selection bet will give 6 different permutations for your forecast but will cost six stakes. The returns will be based on the official dividend, which is declared to a one-unit stake. Forecasts bets can only be taken if there are 3 or more runners.
Tricast Betting
A tricast bet is predicting the first three in a race in the correct order. Only certain races can be tricast races our rules clearly define what circumstances must apply. The returns will be based on the official dividend, which is declared to a one-unit stake.
